カルデコット賞受賞の児童書をベースにした映画が年末に公開されました。
映画の題名は『HUGO』。
翻訳版の題は『ユゴーの不思議な発明』だそうです。
絵本や児童書の大好きな私は、数年前、出版されてすぐに読みました。
そうそう、オンライン図書館で本のカバーしか見ていなかった私は
まるで、ディクショナリーのような分厚さと重さにビックリしたのでした。
（日本に広辞林っていう辞書がありましたよね、あの感じよ）

映画公開前に、もういちど本を借りて読みました。
絵をふんだんに使っているから、５００ページでも読むのは楽勝。
